Scintimammography

It is a noninvasive breast imaging test that helps detects cancer from other benign structures in the breast. A small amount of a radioactive substance called technetium 99, is injected intravenously and images of the breasts are taken using a gamma camera. Breast cancer cells attract more radioactive material than non-cancerous cells.
